Receiver's journal (credit system), 1814-1831.

Chronological listing is chiefly of funds received by the Receiver. Entries include payer name and residence; receipt date, amount, and cause (i.e., initial tract purchase payment; subsequent installment and interest payments; preemption claim). Entries for land payments include tract legal description; acreage; price per acre; and total purchase price. Also included are quarterly summary dates; totals of receipts analyzed by specie, military warrants, U. S. Treasury notes, and forfeited land stock.
